This yarn is a single ply yarn that is deliciously soft and squishy. One skein would be enough for a bulky hat or cowl. Great for instant gratification! Because this yarn is so thick it absorbs dye differently and has a very unique look. It looks to me like it glows. Although this yarn is superwash, hand washing is recommended  due to the more delicate nature of single ply yarns.
